FIRST LEGO League is an international educational program that was launched in 1998 by the American foundation FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and LEGO. In Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, the program has been organized since 2002 by the non-profit organization HANDS on TECHNOLOGY e.V.

The FIRST LEGO League offers bring long-term engagement and excitement for children and students. Over several years, the program sustainably develops their skills in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), teamwork, and communication.
