The finale takes place under the patronage of Vicky Felthaus, Mayor for Youth, Schools, and Democracy:

"I am very pleased that this finale is returning to Leipzig after 20 years. Perhaps some still remember it being hosted at Porsche, back then with our current Lord Mayor Burkhard Jung as a jury member. This year, more than 300 children and young people from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland will demonstrate in the historic rooms of the New Town Hall how much creativity, team spirit, and technical curiosity they possess. This finale is more than an exciting competition. It is an impulse and a strong signal to make STEM support even more visible in schools, companies, and in our public awareness in the long term. Thanks to many partners, this important educational event is free of charge for all interested participants."

The City of Leipzig provides the historic rooms of the New Town Hall and actively supports the event.
