Participate, Learn, Shape

The FIRST LEGO League educational program provides preschool and school-aged children with an ideal introduction to research, engineering, and programming. It sparks early interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) while simultaneously fostering teamwork and communication skills.

Annual Challenge: Each year, participants explore exciting topics such as recycling, energy, transportation, and urban development. Through ongoing, age-appropriate challenges, we deliver sustainable and impactful STEM education that inspires and empowers children and young people over the long term.

FIRST LEGO League Core Values

FIRST LEGO League teams, classes, coaches, mentors, volunteers, and organizers actively live the FIRST Core Values. They are the foundation of our collaboration and stand for respect, openness, and mutual support. Our regional partners, who organize the Challenge competitions and Explore exhibitions, are encouraged to implement measures from our Awareness Concept. Awareness means being mindful of one another, respecting boundaries, and creating an environment free from discrimination, bullying, or inappropriate behavior. The concept provides suggestions for protective measures, inclusive cooperation, and a culture of mindfulness – ensuring that all children and young people experience our events as positive and safe.
