Why do people get involved with the FIRST LEGO League? What motivates them to contribute their time and knowledge? How
can you
contribute?

Mentor
occasionally to several months of regular engagement

You support teams/classes in a field in which you are an expert - through professional or private experience. You can provide targeted input, support and feedback, e.g. in the areas of construction, programming, research, project management, communication, and thus positively influence the learning experience of the participants.

Event Volunteer
seasonally recurring commitment

At FIRST LEGO League events, you can support the organisers as an Explore assessor, Challenge referee or judge, or as a helping hand. Your commitment on the day of the event as well as for the preparation before the event is about 10-12 hours.

Coach
several months or several years of regular commitment

As a coach you can inspire teams for science and technology! You support your team in organising the regular meetings, motivate them in solving the seasonal tasks and travel with the team members to the regional final event.

Pro-Bono Consultant
occasionally to several months of regular commitment

Support our office and help us grow! With your help we can become even better in the areas of organisational development, fundraising and impact measurement. Virtual consultation meetings can take place on a monthly or quarterly basis, depending on your time resources.
