In the new FIRST LEGO League season 2024/25 SUBMERGED there are some changes in the evaluation of the Robot Game and the jury evaluation, which we summarize here.

From this season onwards, the German Robot Game rules and challenge updates will apply to all challenge competitions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as a binding basis for evaluations and rule decisions. These can be found on the official Robot Game website.
The first challenge update of 14.08.2024 already contains five major adjustments, including changes to coral farming (Update 01), the gang rule when returning to the home zone (Update 02) and the exploration mission (Update 03). An important note on rule interpretation is also included. You can read all updates directly in the latest Robot Game Update.

Another new feature concerns the evaluation of core values. These are now integrated into the research and robot design presentations and are no longer evaluated separately. Certain criteria in these presentations will also be included in the evaluation of the core values. As before, you will receive feedback from the jury on the research, the robot design and your core values on a new joint feedback form.
