From March 28 to 30, 2025, Siegen became the center of the robotics world: Three days full of innovation, team spirit, and enthusiasm. At this year’s finale of the FIRST LEGO League Challenge, Explore, and Discover, teams from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland gathered to celebrate the season’s highlights.

In total, 30 Challenge teams, 9 Explore teams, and 2 Discover teams competed. The competitions were held—organizationally challenging—across several venues: the Technical Vocational College and the Business and Administration Vocational College.

Especially impressive was the great commitment of around 58 volunteers who passionately ensured smooth operations. Many partners and sponsors such as REWE Digital, the Siegen-Wittgenstein district, the Rittal Foundation, datasec, and many others contributed significantly to the success—providing infrastructure, expertise, and inspiring program points.

Alongside the competitions, the event offered a varied supporting program with exhibition booths, interactive activities, and a poetry slam that provided a creative and inspiring conclusion. The event thrived on an open, appreciative atmosphere marked by respect and genuine community spirit.

At the center were the core values of FIRST LEGO League: teamwork, innovation, curiosity, and shared passion for technology and research.
