Our training workshops provide practical preparation for teachers, coaches, and educators on implementing FIRST LEGO League with methodological impulses, insights into materials and technology, and plenty of opportunities for exchange. Depending on your region and experience level, two formats are available.

Jumpstart Workshops – compact, hands-on & regional

These one-day Jumpstart Workshops are aimed especially at newcomers to the FIRST LEGO League Challenge. Experienced coaches from the Nano Giants Academy offer a solid introduction to the season’s flow, coaching role, technical basics with SPIKE Prime, and practical implementation in school or leisure settings.

Dates 2025: Norderstedt (July 19 & 20), Dresden (September 16), Bregenz (September 27)

Training Series with the VDI-GaraGe – well prepared in three steps

In cooperation with the VDI-GaraGe and funded by the TÜV SÜD Foundation, we are offering for the second time a three-part training series in Leipzig available for either Challenge or Explore. The workshops build on each other and prepare participants thoroughly for their coaching role. Topics include: basics, role understanding and materials; deepening project work and robotics; coaching, teamwork and presentation.

Period: September to November 2025. Participation is only possible for the complete series as the modules build upon each other.
